A personalized shrine or altar can serve many purposes: simply as an objet d' arte,
a memory box for a meaningful moment or celebration, such as a wedding, a
memorial to a departed loved one, or a beloved pet -- cat, dog or any other animal
- a personal devotional object, a representation of a meaningful icon, object or

This "DIY" shrine/altar is painted and glazed in tones of silver and robin's-egg blue.
It is partially collaged on most sides in matching or neutral colors. The tin moon on
the top shelf and the miniature angel on the door ledge are examples of howl
objects may be placed -- they are not fixed in place. The doors remain open as
shown. The small drawer with glass bead pull is a part of the assemblage, but not
yet fixed in place. It opens, is covered in hand printed paper, and can be put on or
under any shelf. More views below.
